Instructions:

In this experiment, you will understand the physical meaning of resonant and damped motion. In addition, you will master the use of air-track. This experiment explores the spring oscillator model. By measuring the period of vibration of the harmonic oscillator, T, the corresponding fluctuation equation can be derived.

Equipment:

Air-track, slider, additional weights, springs, photogate, digital millisecond timer.
