Determination of Relative Molecular Mass of Glucose by Freezing Point Depression Method
UFUG 1302
Location:
CL 1 Dalton Lab
Instructor:
Yunjuan, Zhang
Instructions:
When a solute is dissolved in a solvent, the freezing point of the solvent decreases, which is one of the colligative properties of dilute solutions. The depression of the freezing point of a non-volatile and non-electrolyte dilute solution is directly proportional to the molal concentration of the solution.
Equipment:
Self-cooling Freezing Point Tester
